By purchasing, booking, or participating in Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy (HBOT) services at Holina Clinic, clients acknowledge that they have read, understood, and agreed to the following Terms & Conditions.
1. Session Packages & Validity
1.1 Package Structure
Holina Clinic offers pre-paid session packages of 10, 20, 30, 40, or 60 sessions. Current pricing is provided separately and is subject to change at any time without notice. Confirmed and paid packages will be honored at the price paid at the time of purchase.
1.2 Validity Periods
Each package is valid for a fixed period from the date of purchase, based on package size:
- 10 sessions — valid for 3 months
- 20 sessions — valid for 5 months
- 30 sessions — valid for 7 months
- 40 sessions — valid for 10 months
- 60 sessions — valid for 12 months
Unused sessions after the validity period are forfeited automatically. Packages cannot be paused or frozen for any reason, including travel, scheduling conflicts, or personal circumstances.
1.3 Extensions
Extensions are not guaranteed. They may be granted only at the sole discretion of Holina Clinic in exceptional medical circumstances, and must be requested in writing before the expiration date.
1.4 Transferability
Packages and unused sessions may be transferred to another individual, subject to:
- Medical suitability of the receiving individual
- Prior written approval from Holina Clinic
- The validity period does not reset upon transfer — the original expiration date remains unchanged
Holina Clinic reserves the right to deny any transfer if safety or eligibility criteria are not met.
1.5 Refund Policy
All purchases are final. No refunds will be issued for packages, individual sessions, partially used packages, or missed sessions.
2. Client Categories & Scheduling
Holina Clinic operates two scheduling models. All clients are classified into one of the following categories at the time of purchase:
2.1 Protocol Clients (Fixed Slot)
Protocol clients are scheduled according to the clinical 5:2 model — five (5) treatment days per week (Sunday–Thursday or Sunday–Friday), followed by two (2) rest/integration days. This structure is a core part of the therapeutic process and is the framework under which the fixed slot is reserved.
Conditions:
- A fixed time slot is assigned for the duration of the program
- Protocol clients must confirm their full weekly schedule by end of day Friday each week — even if the time slot remains unchanged
- If weekly confirmation is not received by Friday, the clinic reserves the right to release the slot for that week. Released slots are not deducted but may not be recoverable
- Priority scheduling is granted to Protocol Clients
Where a client is temporarily unable to maintain the 5:2 protocol due to medical or personal circumstances, Holina Clinic will make reasonable efforts to accommodate an adjusted schedule. This is subject to availability and clinic discretion, and does not guarantee an equivalent slot or continuity of the original time.
Time Slot Changes:
Clients may request one (1) time slot change per every ten (10) sessions purchased, subject to availability:
- 10 sessions = 1 change
- 20 sessions = 2 changes
- 30 sessions = 3 changes
- 40 sessions = 4 changes
- 60 sessions = 6 changes
Requested changes are not guaranteed and are subject to operational availability. Consistency is considered part of the therapeutic process.
2.2 Bulk Session Clients (Flexible Scheduling)
Clients who purchase a session package without committing to a fixed recurring time slot are classified as Bulk Clients.
Conditions:
- Sessions may be booked no earlier than 48 hours prior to the desired session time — same-day and next-day bookings are not accepted
- Bookings are strictly subject to availability
- No recurring or long-term time reservations are permitted
- Protocol Clients receive scheduling priority — availability for Bulk Clients may be limited accordingly
Holina Clinic reserves the right to limit availability for Bulk bookings in order to maintain operational stability.
3. Booking, Punctuality & Cancellation
3.1 Punctuality
HBOT sessions operate on a strict schedule and accommodate up to four (4) participants per session.
- Clients must arrive 5–10 minutes before their scheduled session time
- Clients arriving more than five (5) minutes late will not be admitted
- The session will be considered delivered and deducted from the package
3.2 Cancellation Policy
- A minimum of 24 hours’ notice is required for cancellation or rescheduling
- Cancellations made less than 24 hours before the scheduled session will result in automatic deduction
3.3 No-Shows
Failure to attend a scheduled session without prior notice will result in automatic deduction of that session from the client’s package.
4. Medical & Safety Responsibility
4.1 Medical Disclosure
All first-time clients must complete a medical intake form prior to their first session and disclose all relevant medical conditions, including but not limited to:
- Lung or respiratory conditions
- Cardiac issues
- Ear or sinus problems
- Recent illness, surgery, or hospitalization
- Pregnancy
Failure to disclose relevant medical information releases Holina Clinic from liability related to nondisclosure.
4.2 Right to Refuse Treatment
Holina Clinic reserves the right to refuse, delay, or cancel treatment if staff or the supervising physician determine that participation may pose a health risk. Examples include:
- Active cold, flu, or fever
- Ear congestion or sinus pressure
- Recent diving or flying
- Any condition deemed a contraindication by the clinic physician
4.3 Client Responsibility During Session
Clients must immediately inform the chamber operator of any discomfort, including:
- Ear pain or pressure discomfort
- Dizziness or nausea
- Any unusual symptoms
Holina Clinic is not liable for injury resulting from a client’s failure to communicate discomfort during a session.
4.4 Shared Chamber Environment
Unless a private session is booked at a premium rate, HBOT sessions are conducted in a shared chamber with up to four (4) participants. Clients consent to this shared environment upon booking.
4.5 Prohibited Items
The following are strictly prohibited inside the chamber:
- Flammable materials or liquids
- Oils, perfumes, or lotions
- Synthetic or non-approved clothing
- Electronic devices (unless explicitly approved by staff)
4.6 Medical Disclaimer
HBOT is a supportive wellness and recovery therapy. It is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease. Individual results vary and are not guaranteed. Holina Clinic operates under licensed medical supervision in compliance with local healthcare regulations.
5. Pricing & Payment
- Full payment is required prior to commencing any sessions
- Accepted payment methods: cash (THB), bank transfer — card payments subject to availability
- All prices are in Thai Baht (THB) and are subject to change at any time without notice
- Confirmed and paid packages are locked at the purchase price
6. Operational Interruptions
Holina Clinic is not liable for service disruptions beyond its reasonable control, including power outages, weather events, equipment maintenance, or government/regulatory changes.
- Sessions interrupted after pressurization has begun are considered delivered and will be deducted
- Sessions interrupted prior to pressurization may be rescheduled at the clinic’s discretion
7. Operational Discretion
Holina Clinic reserves the right to modify scheduling structure, adjust operational flow, limit bookings, or delay and terminate sessions for safety or operational reasons. Such actions do not constitute grounds for refund.
8. Personal Delays
Holina Clinic is not responsible for missed sessions due to traffic, ferry delays, travel issues, or personal scheduling conflicts. Standard cancellation and no-show policies apply regardless of the reason for absence.
9. Acceptance of Terms
By purchasing, booking, or attending an HBOT session at Holina Clinic, clients confirm that they:
- Have read and understood these Terms & Conditions
- Agree to comply with all clinic policies and staff instructions
- Accept personal responsibility for their participation in therapy
These Terms & Conditions are subject to periodic review and update.
